Do I really deal directly with the developer?
Yes. You talk to me, Sam, throughout discovery, design, development and launch. If a specialist supplier is needed, I identify them and their cost in the scope rather than introducing an unknown handover later.
How much does a website cost?
Websites start from £499, and web or mobile apps are quoted once I understand what they need to do. It's guide pricing — after a free, no-obligation chat I give you a fixed quote so you know the exact price before we start. No day rates that quietly creep up, no surprise invoices.
Can you build a web app or a mobile app, not just a website?
Yes. That can include booking systems, customer portals and internal tools. We start with the problem, then I explain whether a custom build, a proven platform or a mixture offers the best balance of cost, control and maintenance.
Will my site work on phones and load quickly?
Responsive behaviour, accessibility and performance are part of the scope and testing. The final speed also depends on content, hosting and third-party scripts, so I measure the build and explain any remaining constraints rather than claiming a perfect score in advance.
Can you add AI to my website or app?
If it helps, yes. I can add chat, search or an automation, but first we define the job, the human handover and the running cost. A simpler non-AI feature is often the better choice, and I will show you that option too.
What if I already have a website?
That's fine. I can rebuild it, redesign it, or improve the site you've got — whatever makes most sense for your budget. We'll have a look together, and I'll give you a straight recommendation rather than pushing you into a full rebuild you don't need.
Do you look after the site after it goes live?
Yes. You can request ad-hoc work or choose a website care plan with an agreed monthly allowance and response terms. Care plans run month to month with 30 days' notice, and their exact coverage is written down before launch.
